What TeacherTabs collects, why, and how to have it removed. The short version: as little as we can, and nothing you write in your planner ever reaches us.
The free planner and our emails
The free planner is a gift, for your own use as a teacher: keep it, write on it, print it. Please don't sell it or pass it off as your own work. By asking for it you agree that we may email you, as it says under the form. When you ask for the free planner we keep your email address, the date, and how you found us. We use the address to send you the planner, then an occasional email about our paid planners. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works with one click, and we stop straight away. We never sell or share your address, and we don't add you to anyone else's list.
Accounts and purchases
Downloading a planner you've designed needs an account, made with Google sign-in or an email address and password. We store your name, email address, the setup of each planner and the finished PDF, so you can come back to them. Payments are taken by Stripe on Stripe's own page; your card details go to Stripe and never to us. We keep a record of what was bought and when.
What you write stays yours
Anything you write on a planner lives in your own PDF app, on your own device. We never see it, store it, or have any way to reach it.
Cookies
Cookies of our own remember how you first found the site (for example, which advert), give your browser a random visitor number so we can count visitors without knowing who they are, and keep you signed in. Google Analytics shows us, in aggregate, which pages are visited. If you say OK on the cookie bar, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel also runs: it tells Meta that someone who saw one of our adverts visited, asked for the free planner or bought, so our adverts reach the right people. Say No thanks and it never loads. You can change your mind by clearing this site's cookies.
Who else sees your data
Only the services that run the site: Google (Firebase hosting, sign-in and storage; Analytics), Stripe (payments), Fasthosts (our email), and Meta if you agreed to the pixel. Each only gets what it needs for its job.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted, account and planners included. Use the contact form and a person will sort it out, usually within a school day. If you're in the UK you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
